For the hard days.
Some days your skin needs more than a moisturiser. The Repair Balm is the step you reach for then — a rich, concentrated balm that seals in moisture and comforts skin that feels tight, rough or especially dry.
It's a waterless (anhydrous) formula. No water means no need for preservatives and nothing watered down — just a high concentration of butters, skin-loving oils and the same barrier lipids your skin makes naturally. Smooth it over hands, elbows, lips, knuckles, and anywhere that feels especially dry.
No fragrance. No essential oils. No water. Nothing but what your skin actually needs.
What's inside
Shea butter — a rich, nourishing butter that softens and comforts
High linoleic sunflower oil — helps replenish the skin's natural lipids
Squalane — a lightweight, skin-identical emollient that sensitive skin tolerates well
Beeswax — forms a soft, breathable layer that helps lock moisture in
Oat oil — gentle and soothing, from the same oat family as our bath soak
Ceramide complex — ceramides, cholesterol and fatty acids in a 1:1:1 ratio, mirroring the lipids found naturally in skin, to help support the skin barrier
Rosehip and vitamin E — antioxidants that keep the formula fresh and care for the skin

How to use
How to use
The balm is the final "seal" step — it locks in everything underneath.
Every day: once your Daily Barrier Repair Cream has sunk in (a minute or two), smooth a thin layer of balm over the areas that need it most.
For very dry patches: use a slightly more generous amount.
On its own: simple enough to use alone on rough, very dry spots — there's no lactic acid or added actives, just rich, plain comfort.
Overnight: layer it on more generously before bed and cover with cotton gloves or clothing to help it work while you sleep.
A little goes a long way. Warm a small amount between your fingertips and it melts straight in.
Full ingredients
Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Squalane, Cera Alba (beeswax), Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Oil, Tocopherol (vitamin E), Ceramide NP, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Cholesterol, Palmitic Acid.
That's the lot. Ten ingredients, every one chosen on purpose.
Questions, answered
How is it different from the Barrier Repair Cream?
The cream is your daily moisturiser — lighter, water-based and easily absorbed. The balm is richer and waterless, made to seal on top and give extra comfort to the driest areas. Lots of people use both: cream first, balm to seal.
Can children use it?
Yes — it's suitable for adults and children, and it's deliberately simple and fragrance-free. Always patch test first, and for babies have a quick word with your GP or health visitor.
It contains beeswax — is that a problem?
Reactions to beeswax are rare, but if you have a known bee or honey allergy, patch test carefully or give it a miss.
Why is "no water" a good thing?
Without water, a balm doesn't need preservatives and isn't diluted — so you get a higher concentration of the butters and oils that do the work.
Will it feel greasy?
It's rich by design, but the squalane stops it feeling heavy. Warm a little between your fingers and it melts in. Use sparingly.
Where can I use it?
Hands, elbows, knees, knuckles, lips — anywhere that feels especially dry.
Patch Test
Patch test before first use: a little on the inner arm, wait 24–48 hours, and stop if any redness or irritation appears. This balm is here to comfort and protect your skin — a complement to, not a replacement for, anything your GP or dermatologist has recommended. For external use only. Keep water out of the jar and store below 25°C.
